A colleague of mine asked me sometime today to briefly state a few great free-ware, spyware removal tools for personal use. My instant reaction was, Aw-Aware, Spy Bot Search and destroy and Windows defender! There are quite a few more programs that we can add to this list. Let’s face it though, the 3 I have mentioned are pretty good tools to utilize, they are free and get the job done. So thank you to Lavasoft and safer-networking for the products they have! Notice I didn’t thank Microsoft; that’s becasue one can argue that Windows defender is not free. You have to pay for a copy of Windows and that means you paid for the use of Windows Defender! There will be more on this subject in the future. For now I’m heading back to my pc build! I can’t wait to start modding!
