FireFox 3.5 Oficially released!
The F-Secure Security Labs has released information of a new Malware running around the net. The legitimate name is Trojan.Win32.Buzus.bjyo. This Trojan is currently known aas a high risk Trojan because it was recently detected (June 18th to 30th, 2009)! That means, for everyone who likes to update their malware/spyware/virus scaners once a month will not have the remedy handy for this guy. A lesson is, you should update your software before you run it every time.
The goal of this Trojan is to get you infected and here’s how it tries to do it: “There has been a couple of malware attacks that have tried to use the news coverage of the death of Michael Jackson as the lure to get people infected.
Last night we saw this one: a file called Michael-www.google.com.exe. This file was distributed through a site called photos-google.com and possibly also through photo-msn.org, facebook-photo.net and orkut-images.com. Do not visit these sites.
When executed, Michael-www.google.com.exe drops files called reptile.exe and winudp.exe. These are IRC bots with backdoor capability. The file also shows this fake error message:
It’s very gay and unwelcome-d that the iphone was unable to do video until now. Even HTC phones have had that capability for years! But this post is not about the 3gs playing video. Initially, I wasn’t going to write about this, but I gave the product some thought in the past 2 days, and it’s a good idea. CoolerMaster has developed a universal laptop charger that replenishes the energy in more than just your laptop. Think about it, your on the road and you ipod and cell phone are low. You head into StarBucks for a cup of joe and while your enjoying the drink, you boot up the lappy for a few minutes on the net. At the same time, your phone and ipod are charging! Also, if you so happen to misplace your laptop charger and it’s no longer available, this can be a great supplement.
Yes, they have great products, I own a Real Power Pro 1250, that I got in February of last year, Let’s just say I use about 1200 wats every minute my PC is on. Yes, it’s a power hog! But the power supply is a champ!
Usually I keep my personal life away from my public and professional. But, I’m proud to let you all know I haven’t been on in a week because of the birth of my son on Monday, June 15th, 2009. He came out at 603pm and it was a beautiful site to behold. It’s true, every pregnancy does differ than the other. His was special in its own way, as was that of my daughter’s in 2007. Here’s something you all didn’t know, that screen shot of myself to the right, dated “10/20/2007.” Was taken during a medical follow up 13 days before my daughter was born. Any-who, enough of the softness…. I need to post uo TECHIE!
