On April 29th, right after I downloaded patch 1.4, I noticed a new addition to the Crysis Patch family! The new addition is version 1.5! The good news is you don’t need the other patches in order to apply this current version. Here’s some details on what’s included:

“General Fixes

• [ Fixed ] Occasional HUD buttons displacement
• [ Fixed ] Shoot + Zoom exploit with Sniper Rifle
• [ Fixed ] Potential renderer crash
• [ Fixed ] Score limit is correctly calculated in PowerStruggle
• [ Fixed ] Vehicle damage direction display
• [ Fixed ] Server crash when using last purchase to repeatedly buy vehicles

Updates and improvements

• [ Updated ] Added health bar of player who just killed you
• [ Updated ] Added automatic respawning in Instant Action/Team Instant Action, defaults to 20s after death
• [ Updated ] Added new visual hit indicator asset - shows whether you hit a player or a vehicle
• [ Updated ] Various messages for accessibility improvement
• [ Updated ] Reworked options menu

Balance

• [ Balance ] Increased melee damage, and improved its consistency

New Map
With this patch a new map arrives in the form of Ruins. This map is set in a church ruins environment and invites players to fight both inside and outside of the church itself. Below you can find screenshots and a flythrouh video.”

Ok, I’ve been avoiding the fact that a 3G network is fast, but horrible when it comes to downloading LARGE files. My current situation is, I’ve been avoiding playing Crysis WARS online because I’ve haven’t updated my game since patch 3! Why? I have a wireless home network through my local cable company and a 3G Network card by AT&T. Instead of using my wireless network, I have my AT&T card plugged into my gaming desktop. This is my personalized choice, any who…. in order to download the patch from Crysis’s dedicated server, it will take an average of 15 hours (with the 3G card). That’s horrible! I found a mirror at:

With the provided server, I downloaded the patch within 50 minutes on my 3G card! Great!
